Listing rules and category disclosures

The disclosure and proof standards every AccountShark listing must meet, plus why Fortnite and GTA V carry extra review.

Every AccountShark listing must give buyers an accurate picture of what they are buying, what they will receive, and any limitations or risks they should know before paying.

These rules apply to accounts, currency, items, and boosting services. Some games and categories require additional information because account access, platforms, regions, or delivery methods work differently.

If a material detail could affect someone's decision to buy, disclose it in the listing.

📋 Rules for every listing

Listings must be clear, accurate, and based on inventory or services you control and can deliver.

You must:

  • List in the correct game, category, region, server, and platform where applicable.

  • Accurately describe the product or service and its important features.

  • Disclose bans, warnings, penalties, restrictions, debts, cooldowns, flags, or relevant account history.

  • Disclose limitations that affect how the buyer can use, secure, recover, or modify what they purchase.

  • State any special requirements the buyer must follow for delivery or use.

  • Provide current, truthful screenshots or other proof when required.

  • Keep the listing accurate for as long as it remains available.

  • Update or remove the listing if something material changes.

Do not hide a limitation because it makes your listing less attractive. An undisclosed restriction discovered after purchase can result in the order being canceled or decided in the buyer's favor.

📸 Screenshots and proof

Anything used to support your listing must represent the product you are actually selling.

Screenshots and other evidence must be current, truthful, and unedited in any way that changes what they prove.

Do not:

  • Use screenshots from another seller or another product.

  • Edit screenshots to exaggerate value, progress, rank, inventory, or account status.

  • Hide warnings, penalties, restrictions, or other relevant information.

  • Claim ownership of items, cosmetics, achievements, ranks, or other features the product does not have.

  • Manipulate listing information to mislead buyers or gain unfair visibility.

AccountShark may request additional proof before or after a listing is published.

🔑 Additional rules for game accounts

Account listings must also tell the buyer what kind of access they will receive.

Where applicable, disclose:

  • Email access and whether the email itself is included.

  • Linked platforms and login methods.

  • Which linked platforms can or cannot be unlinked.

  • Any active email, platform, or security-change cooldowns.

  • Region or platform restrictions.

  • Previous bans, warnings, offenses, penalties, or other relevant history.

  • Any recovery or ownership information required for that game.

If you advertise full email access, you must actually be able to transfer access to that email when the account is delivered.

See Account seller guide for ownership, recovery, handover, and post-sale requirements.

🎮 Game-specific disclosures

Some games require additional information because the platform or account systems create details buyers need to know before ordering.

Fortnite

Fortnite listings must accurately state:

  • Which platforms the account is currently linked to.

  • Which supported platforms can or cannot be linked.

  • Whether the email can currently be changed.

  • Any active linking, unlinking, or email-change restrictions or cooldowns.

  • Any warnings, penalties, or relevant account history.

If a buyer is expected to avoid a particular action during the account transfer or security process, that requirement must be disclosed before purchase.

GTA V

GTA V listings must clearly identify:

  • The platform and launcher, such as Rockstar, Epic Games, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.

  • The included game version or edition, where applicable.

  • Any linked accounts or platforms that remain attached.

  • Any relevant restrictions, penalties, or account history.

If the listing is specifically for FiveM, make that clear and disclose any requirements the buyer needs in order to use it.

Old School RuneScape and RuneScape

Disclose any history that could create additional risk for the buyer, including:

  • Previous bans or offenses.

  • Botting or macroing history.

  • Relevant recovery information.

  • Account or membership restrictions.

Any recovery information available and required for transfer must be provided as part of the sale.

Valorant and League of Legends

Competitive accounts must be listed using their current applicable rank, not a previous-season or historical peak presented as the current rank.

Disclose relevant warnings, offenses, restrictions, or other account history.

Accounts created or progressed using cheats or unauthorized software cannot be listed as clean or normally progressed accounts.

Call of Duty

Clearly state:

  • Which Call of Duty title or current game environment the account is for.

  • Which platforms are linked.

  • Which platforms can be linked or unlinked.

  • What access is included with any login methods that remain connected.

Additional game-specific requirements may appear when you create your listing. The requirements shown for your selected category are part of the listing rules.

🚫 What can't be listed?

AccountShark does not allow listings for:

  • Stolen, hacked, fraudulently obtained, or otherwise unauthorized accounts or digital goods.

  • Giveaways, raffles, lotteries, or chance-based listings.

  • Mystery or random products where the buyer does not know what they are purchasing.

  • Gambling products or services.

  • Adult or sexually explicit material.

  • Products or services you do not own, control, or have authorization to deliver.

  • Listings designed to deceive buyers about what they will receive.

  • Anything prohibited by the Seller Agreement or applicable law.

AccountShark may remove listings or categories that create unacceptable fraud, safety, legal, or payment risk.

🔍 Additional review

Some listings, including Fortnite and GTA V accounts, may receive additional review.

These games can involve multiple platforms, linked accounts, transfer restrictions, cooldowns, and other account-specific details that need to match what the buyer is being offered.

AccountShark may review the listing, screenshots, account details, and disclosures or request additional proof before allowing the listing or order to proceed.

Additional review does not replace the seller's responsibility to disclose everything accurately.

For the rules that apply after someone places an order, see Seller rules and Fulfilling an order.
