How to sell an account

Selling an account end to end: verify, list accurately, prove the claims, hand over, get paid.

To sell a gaming account, you must first be approved and verified on AccountShark as a Seller or Store. Once approved, you can create your listing, choose how you want to deliver the account, and set the price you want to receive.

Step 1: Create your account listing

Open your Seller Dashboard and create a new account listing.

Add:

  • A clear, descriptive title

  • The important features and progress on the account

  • Current screenshots showing what you are selling

  • Any restrictions, penalties, cooldowns, or other limitations

  • The region and platform where applicable

  • What account and email access is included

  • A realistic delivery timeframe

  • Your selling price

The more complete your listing is, the easier it is for a buyer to understand what they are purchasing without needing to ask questions first.

Everything you advertise must accurately represent the account at the time it is sold.

See Account Seller Rules for the complete listing and disclosure requirements.

Step 2: Choose your delivery method

Choose how the account credentials will be provided when the account sells.

Automatic delivery. Enter the account information when creating or editing your listing. The buyer receives the stored credentials after completing payment.

Automatic delivery can still require your help afterward if the buyer needs a verification code, email change, or another step to finish taking control.

Manual delivery. Wait until an order is placed, then enter the account information through the delivery form in the Orders section of your Seller Dashboard.

Choose a delivery method and timeframe you can reliably meet.

Step 3: Prepare the account for delivery

Before handing the account over, remove personal information and security methods that should not remain attached to you.

Check for:

  • Your two-factor authentication

  • Your phone number

  • Saved payment methods

  • Personal billing information

  • Unnecessary linked accounts or login methods

Have all of the information promised in your listing ready for the buyer.

Step 4: Provide the account information

When your account sells, open the order and complete the handoff.

Depending on the game and listing, you may need to provide:

  • Login email or username

  • Password

  • Email login credentials

  • Security questions and answers

  • Recovery information

  • Other credentials needed to take control

If your listing promised full email access, the email login must be included with the account.

If the account instead needs to be changed to the buyer's email, assist with any verification codes or confirmations required from the currently linked email.

Step 5: Help the buyer take control

Give the buyer enough time to log in, verify the account, and replace the information you transferred with their own.

If they need a legitimate verification code or other assistance to complete the handoff, respond and help them finish it.

Once you have provided everything required and completed your side of the transfer, click Confirm Delivery.

Step 6: Wait for buyer confirmation

The buyer has up to 72 hours after delivery to inspect the account and make sure it matches your listing.

If everything is correct, they can confirm delivery before the 72 hours are over. If they take no action, the order automatically confirms when the review period expires.

You may send a polite reminder after delivery, but do not pressure or threaten a buyer to confirm early.

The 72-hour period gives the buyer time to verify what they received. It is not a change-of-mind period. A correctly delivered account that matches its listing cannot be canceled simply because the buyer regrets the purchase.

Step 7: Get paid

After the order completes, your earnings are credited according to the account-sale payout process.

Account purchases include a 12-month Account Warranty, so account-sale funds remain subject to the applicable warranty period before becoming withdrawable.

Your seller commission is deducted automatically from the sale.

See When do sellers and boosters get paid? for the exact payout timeline, withdrawal methods, and fees.

What information do I need to give the buyer?

The buyer should receive everything your listing promised and everything reasonably required to take control of the account.

If email access is included, provide the email credentials. If an email change is required instead, assist with the change. If the game uses security questions or other transferable recovery information, provide those where applicable.

Do not advertise access you cannot actually hand over.
