How do I file a warranty claim?

What to send, how AccountShark investigates, and what happens after a recall report.

Written by Jason M

File a warranty claim when you believe a purchased account was recalled by the original owner or affected by a seller-related issue. Fast, complete evidence helps support separate real recalls from normal login friction.

📝 What to send

  • Order number and listing title.

  • When you last had access.

  • Exact login error, publisher email, recovery message, or lock notice.

  • Screenshots with timestamps where possible.

  • What you changed after delivery: password, email, 2FA, recovery settings.

  • Any publisher support messages you opened.

🦈 What AccountShark does

  1. Reviews the order, handoff notes, and seller file.

  2. Checks whether the issue looks like seller recall, buyer-side lockout, or unrelated publisher action.

  3. Contacts the seller or uses documented recovery paths where appropriate.

  4. Attempts direct resolution before any store-credit tier is considered.

  5. Applies the coverage rules in What does the account warranty cover? if direct resolution fails.

🔐 Evidence checklist: order number, publisher email or in-game error screenshot with timestamps, and a one-line summary of what changed. Send everything in the first message rather than drip-feeding it.
